Robb Westlund – Never Alone

‘Never Alone’ struck me as having a vitality that you don’t get that much these days and though there is most definitely a retro feel Portland’s Robb Westlund makes it easy for the rest of us to leech off it positively. How could you not want a bit of elixir of life, the vocals and chords working in a manner that the Cars would have been proud of. Takes me right back, the zest and radio friendliness clear to all and something we will be calling upon time and again when the pep needs to be restored in our step. The power of love, eh! KH
