The Entrepreneurs – Find a Face

In terms of volume, in terms of raw noise ‘Find A Face’ takes some beating. For the first time in some time I had to take breaks in a song so as to exhale and come back a little later to enjoy ever element of what Denmark’s the Entrepreneurs are doing here. It reminded me of the Smashing Pumpkins circa their ‘Siamese Dream’ such was the blatant tinnitus provoking. Of course that adds up to thrilling with Mathias Bertelsen offering up words to match the molten riffs. We need artists unafraid to break the rules on decibel levels and ‘Find A Face’ does so while not forgetting to pack a tune while it is at it. KH
