Big Building – Only Friend

Initial reaction was how big those chords are, I mean we’re talking the Hives circa ‘Hate To Say I Told You So’ and when things have been turned out to such nuclear effect you know you are dealing with an act of substance. That they have have those riffs filling the air with such a frisson and in tandem a song that is perfectly singable for the rest of us tells us that ‘Only Friend’ has the capacity to snare many an ear. Certainly got me and with it being summer and us in need of something riproaring it seems apt that we give into their charms – White Stripes fans will be all aglow. KH
