EVNTYD – Sunday

‘Sunday’ details the feeling of angst after the weekends to beat all weekends, the creeping sense of dread that comes from nowhere and is impossible to shift despite all the vibes of the last 36 hours. But then let’s not overthink it because EVNTYD (Austin’s Julián Berdegué) has crafted an anthem for all week such is its chiming intensity. Talk about using all that self-doubt and turning it into a positive swathe of escapism. ‘Sunday’ is a gift of a tune, a rare piece of propulsion that works in the build and that gloriously memorable chorus.
