Rose Cousins – Forget Me Not

I was looking our for a December release date because Rose Cousins has really nailed that Christmas feeling. But then as this gentle folk number spread its wings it was clear that ‘Forget Me Not ‘is an all year round piece of comfortism. Gentle stirrings of the kind that wraps its arms around us and remind us of the songs of yore that instilled a sense of wonder. So what we have here is an artist who takes inspiration from all around her in Nova Scotia and who has the power to have us retreating to back to the twinkle in the eye childhood experience. KH
