Bluhm – Is It True Love?

The kind of track that sounds like it involved a whole lot of handclaps in the recording process. A pop vehicle for sure and with it a retro kissed manner that has more than a little ABBA going for it. Never a fan of the Swedish behemoths but I am really liking what Bluhm (Detroit’s Claire Bluhm and Cameron John Marion) have achieved here, the rolling harmonies such that it feels like the sun is high in the sky even for a rainy day. ‘Is It True Love?’ is one for breaking out the smiles to and in these challenging times we could do with all the upswings that we can get our hands on.
