I was instantly in mind of Washed Out, something integral to the old Moby way of doing things too and you can throw a big of Morcheeba at ‘Hallelujah (Movin Through Ya)’ too. The kind of blissed out dreampop that we’re always on the lookout for, especially when the long beach days are nearing and we want our stereo blessed with an appropriate soundtrack. Marisa Finley hits the sweet spot here, woozy harmonies and a certain intensity that might get some into unexpected grooving. Yeah, it pretty much has it all – what a debut! KH
