Now that is a most appealing shuffle and the vocals are no slouch either. At one point it felt like Modest Mouse but then Holding Hour probably have a bit more dreampop about their sound. The bubbling under theatre is what sustains the piece, tender shifting sands so it feels like ‘Can I Leave Me Too?’ is constantly on the move despite the introspective mannerisms being exhibited. A fantastic piece of indie this from the Des Moines duo of Marissa Kephart and Scott Yoshimura, keeping the proud tradition of jangle and twee alive with distinction. KH
