Far Caspian – An Outstretched Hand / Rain From Here To Kerry

Being the Irish type I can understand a title like that, being the indie type I can appreciate the jangle led dream pop that so powers the good ship Far Caspian too. This is a tempo filled, subtle wordage from Joel Johnston that add plenty to the flighty momentum and all managing to sound as if we are going places. Such is the approach this track quickly hits a motorik stride and we are finally disconnected from an over connected world. In short it feels liberating and a lovely marker for Far Caspian’s upcoming third LP ‘The Last Remaining Light’. KH
