What a slow march ‘LaLaLa Song’ (and there isn’t much lalala either!), a song that wears its heart on its sleeve to an extent that you can almost hear those tears trail down a cheek that has seen plenty of precipitation of late. Of course the beauty of it all is that French act After Geography articulate the genuine human emotion in the auspices of a track that has nostalgia built into its approach, I was reminded of Wings and Paul McCartney (and even Keane) among others but most of all I was moved by the way that singer could evoke such passion in a chorus that already sounds like the sound of all summer long. Lush.
