Jonah Corren – Everyone Takes

Quite the arrangement alright, the big strings setting the tone of a work that reminded me of Belle & Sebastian in the first instance – especially as the bard took to the mic and sprang plenty of ideas on us so there was never going to be a moment when ‘Everyone Takes’ flagged. Nope, this is entertainment that harks back to another time but crucially includes a sense of song that will see us return time and again into the future. West Dorset’s Jonah Corren is certainly one to watch. KH
