Luke Porter – This Place

What I like about ‘This Place’ is that it jumps into proper involving territory straight away so there is no time for us to gather ourselves – straight into the action and there is plenty of it to go around. The playing has an expansive approach to the point of orchestration but there is also a whole lot more to take in vocally where the invention comes from the constant shifting intonation. I just know there is plenty here for return visits and that means Whitley Bay’s Luke Porter is a proper keeper of the flame. KH
