Butternut Sweetheart – Directionless Being

There is quite the theatre to Directionless Being, you could detect the giddiness in the opening beats but it is only when it opens up fully that we experience the expansiveness of Butternut Sweetheart’s (duo Luke and Jazz) ambitions. Must say I was getting floods of reminders that point to the Avalanches, that cinematic spread to the production that means the piece is deserving of an eye popping promo video. A song with an wandering eye and a grandiose ear for uncommon flourishes. KH
