The Confusions – A Bunch Of Daydreamers Out Of Control

What a jolly work this is, flush with a warm melodic air that comes from a combination of wonder filled playing and a singer who knows how to articulate a lost innocence. Swedish band the Confusions really reminded me of Pavement, slacker and wide-eyed and boasting a singer with the August afternoon charm of Stephen Malkmus. Of course it wouldn’t matter a damn if the song didn’t hold up but in that regard ‘A Bunch Of Daydreamers Out Of Control’ is an indie pop keeper. KH
