Louis Aguilar – First Impression

Now that has me right back to the ‘The Holdovers’ movie, not to the early 70’s as I don’t remember them but that is certainly the sound that ‘First Impression’ recalls. And Louis Aguilar appears poised to join the classic folk company into the bargain. Not only does he produce a warm and inviting acoustic bedding but his vocals rise to the task to an even greater degree because the love evoked sounds so true it gives the rest of us the resolve to try harder. It really got to me. KH
