I had to look because it felt like we were in prime Washed Out territory, electronic pop that veers clear of choosing the obvious approach. ‘Oxygen’ is a breath of fresh air, pulsing with life and boasting the sort of tropical synths that feel like a blast of summer ahead of the real thing. Not only that but there is a vocal tact from this Austin act that feels it is made for singing along to. Curtains back and suddenly the sunshine pours in. KH
