Interlay – Plastic Stars

What is so likeable about Interlay is that they don’t waste any time getting stuck in, in a fashion that reminded me of the long lost Times New Viking who were unapologetically noisy and as completely random as can be. ‘Plastic Stars’ probably has a bit more of a formula about it, an ethereal vocal too from Alexandria Ortgiesen which means even if tinnitus strikes up thanks to the feedback and frantic percussion there is still an oasis of dreampop like proportions. My kind of chaos. KH
