They take us by the hand, tell us we’re knee-deep in that summer feeling and that everything is going to be alright. Amazing what can be conjured with a piece of music. Modern Diet have a way with melodies and harmonies and suddenly the sunshine glow is there even if it raining cats and dogs outside. Sounds like a most perfect slice of tempered giddiness, a feel good array of movements to call upon when the blue needs to be shown the door. Jake Cheriff and friends have hit a seam of gold here.
