Teksti-TV 666 – Fast and Furious

Was giving me raw Strokes vibes but with an math-rock interface because there is invention beyond post-punk in the chord strokes. A bit of Ian Dury too so we were almost spoken word, always a twinkle in the eye from Finland’s Teksti-TV 666. I was suspecting they had even more invention in them too, but they were was more than enough in the motoric to keep us occupied. The mid-section changed all that however, a blaze of hugely satisfying crescendos felt like all our birthdays had come at once. Glorious is an understatement. KH
