Modern Diet – For Now

Like an indie pop summer stroll so ‘For Now’ just takes the heat out of the day. Modern Diet offer a charm that is flush with innocence and thoughts of laidback afternoons with the diary free from any kind of chore or responsibility. Endlessly sucrose moments in other words from Jake Cherif and this one has all the hallmarks of a song that we’ll be swinging back for time and time as the need arises. KH

I love how Modern Diet makes such a simple, laidback song feel so memorable. ‘For Now’ really captures those small, sweet moments in music that you can keep coming back to and still feel fresh every time.

Agreed, one of best acts of 2026 to foster that summer feeling.
