Calendula – Shiver

The cleanest of guitars and it was a statement of intent as Connecticut’s Calendula have a singer who is capable of replicating the lost innocence. Funny then that ‘Shiver’ goes all fuzzy on us, but it hardly disrupts the feeling of youthful vigour and the confusion that goes with finding your way in the world. Confusion and exuberance in equal measure. KH
