Heavy Gus – Past Lives

There is slacker to Heavy Gus and this song of theirs comes to us in such a subtle manner. The sort that works out well as a theme to break time, it is non intrusive but still gives us something to think about. Did like the character in the lead performance (Dorota Szuta) and the descending instrumental parts to such a degree that ‘Past Lives’ increasingly became something we couldn’t be without. Effortlessly cool but never coming across like that was the expressed intention. A natural in other words. KH
