What an absorbing way to showcase your aloof and cool persona, in the form of a song that feels like a liberated piece of indie rock. There is agitation there of course but what really rings true on ‘Lines’ is the dissonance, the almost tactical approach to being above and beyond the rest of us peasants. And I love that about Saol and Zoë Gough, the tripping over itself percussion and of course a lead performance that directs things like they are on the cusp of brilliant breakdown. Fantastic. KH
