Munroe make it so that ‘My Time’ is ever so deliberately out of reach, I mean it sounds like the ruminations are coming from the next room but still audible enough so we can pick out the moving parts. And you’ll be satisfied when they decide to come into view because ‘My Time’ has the sort of jangling enterprise that is the stuff of dreams. The magic arrived just before the first minute was out, the chords rang out and in walked a low-key indie swagger that already has the aura of a classic about it. Subtle genius. KH
