The way it burst out of the blocks I was reminded of an old tune from the Frank & Walters. As a result it seemed inevitable that ‘Kings of England’ would be the makings of a neat mixtape addition were we back in those pre-digital days. The jangle is great here, the whoosh of frantic play happening all around helps too as do those vocal rhapsodies that tell us this is a person of rare happy-go-luckiness. KH
