You can tell that Elephant are a class apart from the very first chord to the very last word. ‘About You’ just has broader horizons than most, constantly billowing with intention with reminders of shoegaze guitar work here and there but it is in those soaring vocals that the real heart of the tune resides. A big statement of intent, an arrangement that is even more illuminating on headphones and something that showcases the true spirit of independent music. Most impressed with this Dutch act. KH
