Montevideo – Brawn

Such kinetic energy from French act Montevideo and it’s present from the off so ‘Brawn’ sure does flash its energetic pulses early and right the way through. Plenty of brains too, a proper tune amid all the post-punk machinations. Makes for an exciting return to the days of 90’s independent music, the closest sound I could pinpoint was Bis and that is genuinely something to celebrate. Rock and twee and all things nice. KH
