The Other End – Peeking Over The Top

There is no two ways about it Bergen’s the Other End just have some retro magic to spread every time they release a new track. Now that for me is usually a recipe for citing my nit-picky lust for newer stuff but ‘Peeking Over The Top’ had me doubting that cast-iron approach. How could one resist a singer who somehow combines hope and sadness to have us coming out full of fervour for the future, while all around a noisy rock soundtrack whips us further into a tempered fury. In short I just can’t get enough of this Norwegian act. KH
