Slugfeast – Heavy Heart

Of course it has a ring of alt 90’s about it. At first things have a slacker temperament and veer towards a more math rock direction as ‘Heavy Heart’ starts to cover more ground. Sure does add up to indie rock articulation from this Northern California trio to me, at ease with moving in a tempered fashion as well as when the brake is freed of its duties. Slugfeast cast a subtle spell here for those who want to relive that Siamese dream all over again. KH
