It seems like an age since the last Silver Liz track, it was three years, and we have missed the Brooklyn duo’s post-shoegaze fuzzy rattle. The pair know how to break out their inner atmosphere to scan the universe for wonderous reverbed up noise, in this case something that has a pleasing baggy groove into the bargain. All topped by Carrie Wagner’s singing whose commanding presence puts manners on an arrangement that is forever on a hurry to reinvent itself. Sweet invention, the best kind. KH
