Thomas Aren – Dying For A Living

There were strong hints of country early on and Rhode Island’s Thomas Aren did nothing to dispel that feeling when his croon emerged bearing a burden. All so emotional and on the cusp of breaking into tears but then a luminous chorus launched through the heart of the piece. Such an affecting work, so very out of old school and a tune that wouldn’t have been out of place in those great radio days of yore. A modern day Glen Campbell emerges. KH
