This certainly has the ‘Air Safari’s about it and by that I mean it is pretty fantastic. But rather than sweeping in on a seabreeze of Parisienne korgs Black Moth Super Rainbow actually call Pittsburgh home. ‘Eating Us’ is their 4th LP, early copies of which came complete with a hairy summer jacket (see there are still ways to flog the physical if you’re inventive). ‘Twin Of Myself’ is characterised by its languidness and is graced at regular intervals by a voice squeezed through a vocoder. If it doesn’t kick off your 2 week summer holiday on the right footing then you don’t deserve the time off. I’m already on my 3rd cocktail…singing hot hot hot. KD
