We Have Band – Watertight

This is undercurrent of nuttiness to ‘Watertight’ that will probably signal allergic reactions from certain quarters. But the zaniness is fused with such an elastic sense of tuneage it should attract more than it repels. Not that you could quickly establish the fact from their music alone but We Have Band come from Manchester and were spotted by the eagle-eared at the Guardian for the band-of-the-day slot as far back as 2008. ‘Ternion’ is the second helping from the band of three and appears to be making impressive waves, thanks to a large degree to Darren Bancroft and Dede Wegg-Prosser overlapping vocals.
