She Sir – You Could Be Tiger

Despite being forewarned that Austin’s She Sir were about to down their shoegaze tools for their new single we were convinced otherwise when the gloriously Pale Saints sounding ‘You Could Be Tiger’ pounced throatwards. Ends up that the Austin 4-piece, led by Russell Karloff, haven’t exactly moved the goalposts but they’ve scored another triumphant victory in the art of turning an age old genre into something as vital as it was back in the early 90′s. ‘You Could Be Tiger’ is short but wonderfully realised and offers a wonderful primer for She Sir’s next long player which is due in early 2013.
