White – Red
This is a totally bonkers and utterly brilliant piece of innovation from a duo, Shou Wang and Shen Jing, from Beijing called White. The pair had collaborated previously but their output has taken a distinctly experimental electronic bent with White. Recently they decamped to London and if ‘Red’ doesn’t find a ready audience on the fresher night circuit then students these days would need to take their heads out of their smartphones. This bumps and grinds and offers a mighty presence even if the words are not in the least bit discernible. An A+ all round. KD
