It might start out like Enya but ‘Lullaby’ is the product of an altogether more contemporary artist known as Lord Huron. And if you’ve been to this blog over the last few months you’ll have heard our endless postulations about how fine his ‘Lonesome Dreams’ album is, a genuine contender for album of the year. We’ve kept this track in reserve for a time when thoughts of Christmas aren’t greeted with a downtrodden resignation that it starts earlier every year. Such a quiet little number but one that ignites our inner child every time. KD
