As coaxing as ever from Twain, that easy going but ever so persuasive way of theirs. The band make music for downtime, when concentration is reserved for the mildly baroque coming through the speakers. The focus might well be the vocals on ‘Black Chair’ but you’ll take equal value from the dainty and forever changing musical backdrop. It’s all so delicate but as precious as can be. Expect more of the same from Twain’s latest opus, the lush ‘Rare Feeling’. KH
