The William Blakes – Music Wants To Be Free (Breathe)

Here is a spectral taste of the upcoming LP from Danish band the William Blakes, which will be their 4th in over 3 years. The foursome have that Denmark sound down (see also Mew, Choir of Young Believers and Treefight for Sunlight) wherein the vocals have a faintly synthesised feel. They approach falsetto but stop just short, if you were looking to bracket maybe you could call it truesetto. If this song were a person it would definitely be a girl such is its slinky glamour. KD
