Apparently Miike Snow are big news, but don’t let that put you off because they are also quite brilliant. This is a Swedish 3-piece with tons of sales and a discography that has seen them buff up the recording output of lots of the charts leading lights (Madge, Kylie). They also have considerable reach in the remix scene so what a relief to find out that they leave their best for the originality on their albums. The latest of which arrived earlier this year, spawning this light up the sky piece of fantastical audio that hints at Ian Brown but is rather more encouragingly aligned with several minutes of Alan Wren’s drumming.
