A genius piece of discarded tape from the mid 1980’s ‘So Destroyed’ somehow found itself out of an attic box and into the arms of an expectant internet. So goes the story and forwardy spins a legend of fantastical proportions. Prince Rama were 2 sisters from New York who had conditioned an early computer to gesture enough in the recording stakes to mirror what they were playing in their lofty apartment. Remarkable programming aside it is such a shame that nothing became of their twisterly ways for ‘So Destroyed’ is a mass of grand textures that suffered but learned from at least one cycle in the twin tub. Seems there may be more lost tapes on the way and in all likelihood the story of an indie Sixto Rodriguez could be about to ravel. KD
