The first three words that popped into my head were Kings of Leon, that’s because of the way this song opened out like a (much) finer shade of ‘Sex on Fire’. More smouldering in other words, the best kind because of the longevity that that infers. And given what I’ve heard of this Philadelphia band I’m not quite sure where this has come from because it just commands our attention completely, epic and vital and at various times empowering. Fallen for it real bad – bordering on obsession in fact. KH
