That descending chord is what drew us in and with the attendant vocal harmonies ‘Bends’ gave us the impression of a mixtape fave from the mid 90’s. As you’d suspect we’re all about such tendencies and the slacker anthem territory comes easy to this troupe with plenty reminders of the Lemonheads songbook adding to our salivating response. Another Austin act then to keep an ear out for giving this stellar introduction to their work. KH
