What a heavenly atmosphere, ‘I Wanna Disappear’ making it feel like we’ve moved beyond the pearly gates but the being that greets us fails to handover the keys to heaven – at least for now. Still Shyaway (Brighton’s Adam Macaulay pulling all the strings) crack open a chorus that is worth the wait and the slight purgatory to that point. Quite a prog dimension but as sung by Stephen Duffy so you should be taken by the whole affair. Not quite ‘Icing on the Cake’ but definite a party with enough individuality to convince us of its grandeur. Yep, heaven can wait and all the self aggrandisement that goes with it.
