There is a degree of familiarity here for sure but such is the steady hand offered by this Washington act, and an effervescence to a degree the lead singer’s diaphragm. A fine chorus too with the Crystal Casino Band revealing a personable side so ‘Waste My Time’ tends to lift the mood into a plume of tempered chaos. And boy do we need acts like that to invigorate these greyest of days. KH
