This is quite the baggy number from Dutch artist Diederik van den Brandt. ‘It’s Alright’ has a twinkle in its eye but also that quintessential Stone Roses/Bluetones quality where the song is defined by close harmonies and subtle changes of direction. Right up our street in other words, a loose-limbed affair that has the sun at its back and offers similar qualities for the listener with the serious topic of climate change as its message. It’ll stir you into thinking about the good times that lay ahead of us. KH
