Very 90’s evoking I must say and I should know as it was the decade where my music tastes were honed. The jangle intensity here is only matched by the vocal harmonies that appear in a constant state of flux but realised in a manner that means we are on Salvador Dassi’s side all the way through. This man is suffering but then given we have all gone through similar strains we can empathise with his situation and glory in the violence of the noise that is produced. And boy do matters escalate in the second half of this song, to a degree that the feedback and squalls of noise could puncture delicate eardrums. We’ll definitely take the risk. KH
