This new Glasgow act are definitely plying us with the classic indie rock struct and being the old crumbled down indie lovers that we are that is something to make us feel very happy indeed. The thrills come from a variety of sources on ‘When I Tell You’, the sparkling playing for one and for two a singer who is so bright and alert they could well be the leader of that burst into a new movement of alt heroes from up north. This could be JJ72 reborn, Bottle Rockets are sparking and thusly ‘When I Tell You’ makes for a debut to get properly excited about. KH
