Silver Liz are certainly one of my faves from the last few years, invoking a dreamy set of sequences that bring us rushing back to the 1990’s when music releases made for events and could light a little fire within us by its sheer presence. And though ‘Until Lately’ does signal a shift away from their noisier side the cascading effects chipped away at any resistance we could muster and with new year beginnings we all need a sonic coach to ease us into another year of hopes and dreams. Bravo to the Brooklyn based couple Carrie and Matt Wagner, for they just never let us down. KH
