Elegant beats, that much was clear early on and with that our interest was piqued. You can tell Sleepless Skies have an active imagination and as such ‘Save Me’ reminded of peak Orbital with something of the star speckled skies about their wanderings. No surprise then when the alien vocal interventions took center-stage. The whole effect is illuminating, as is the manner in which this track shapeshifts its way into new territory and beyond so that ever second of its 7 and a half minutes bristles with invention. KH
