Freedom Fry – Growing Up

Welcome y’all and hello to the banjo, a much underused instrument especially if you haven’t found Sufjan Stevens. ‘Growing Up’ quite reminded me of I’m From Barcelona, that Swedish troupe that made it fashionable to sing out loud to music again. That is down to the simple methodology employed and one with a heart the size of Kansas. And that doesn’t just apply to the kids who are growing up but also to the adults who just refuse to do so. I’m clapping and pretty soon everyone else will be too because we need songs like this to restore the faith. Big thanks to Marie Seyrat and Bruce Driscoll for flying the flag for life itself. KH
